Q-Actin® — Cucumis sativus Extract (idoBR1)

What it does: Plant-derived iminosugar (idoBR1) studied for its role in inflammatory pathway research. Supports joint comfort and mobility.

• In a 180-day trial, 20 mg Q-Actin® daily reduced WOMAC joint scores by 70.3% — vs 33.7% for 2,700 mg glucosamine-chondroitin (Nash et al., 2018, PMC6207263). Read it with its limits: both are within-group changes, the trial was sponsor-funded, and it had no placebo arm — it compared against glucosamine-chondroitin, not placebo. It also dosed 10 mg twice daily rather than 20 mg once. Individual results may vary.
• In a separate 60-day randomized placebo-controlled trial, 20 mg/day Q-Actin® improved WOMAC by 31.79% from baseline at Day 60 (Hausenblas et al., 2025, Cureus 17(9):e93507, NCT06246383). Its primary endpoint — the WOMAC group × time interaction — was not significant, p = 0.13. We publish that rather than quote only the baseline figure
• A 12-week placebo-controlled trial in the gummy format reported finger dexterity (Nine-Hole Peg Test) and sleep quality signals (Lloyd et al., 2025, Frontiers in Nutrition 12:1563999, NCT05878847)

Ioniplex® — Patented Fulvic Ionic Mineral Complex

What it is: Delivers 65+ trace minerals in ionic fulvic form, and supports cellular mineral nutrition — a nutrition statement, not a performance promise. There is no published human clinical trial of Ioniplex®. Not few — none. We make no claim for energy, skin, hair or nails: there is no validated human data for any of those endpoints with this material.

• What is peer-reviewed is the composition: 84.5% organic matter, ≥77% fulvic acid by AOAC 991.43 (Deneau et al. 2011, PMID 22002216). That says what the material is, not what it does
• Manufacturer laboratory reports (Sunny Biodiscovery 697-BIOAV, 400COL, 466A) are cell culture, not people. In vitro data is never an efficacy claim, so we make none from it
• The one human study — a six-week nail evaluation (Boisits 2009, Study No. 3411BK0609) — exists only as unpublished data inside US Patent 11,103,001. Its "142% nail growth" is a within-group change against a 129% placebo, and the patent calls the difference only "trendwise significantly greater" — not statistically significant

MitoPrime® — 98%+ Pure L-Ergothioneine

What it does: L-ergothioneine is an amino acid your body actively conserves through a dedicated transporter (OCTN1). Proposed as a putative longevity vitamin candidate by Bruce Ames (PNAS, 2018) — a hypothesis paper, not an established conclusion. We always include the "putative" qualifier.

Salmon-Derived DNA Polynucleotide Complex (Sederma DNA Gel™ PH)

What it is: A cosmetic ingredient delivering DNA polynucleotide chains in a hyaluronic-acid gel base. Salmon soft-roe origin. EU INCI on the label: "DNA" (CAS 9007-49-2). We make no efficacy claim for it. The strong polynucleotide evidence everyone cites is for injected PDRN in wound healing, not a topical cosmetic, and it is not ours to borrow.

What it is: A Mibelle cosmetic active combining Swiss garden cress (Lepidium sativum) sprout extract with soy isoflavones (genistein) and lecithin. Contains soy — if you have a soy allergy, this serum is not for you.

Why we lead on the dose rather than a result: Delentigo™ sits at 4% — the top of Mibelle's 2–4% range and the exact concentration their own study used. Delentigo™ has no PubMed-indexed human trial, and Mibelle's studies (n = 12 and n = 10) are in-house and not peer-reviewed, so we do not present them as proof. Our advertising rules also prohibit dark-spot fading and "evens skin tone" claims outright — stricter than the evidence alone would require. NovoRetin™ — Its Own Ingredient, Not a Retinol

What it is: A cosmetic active derived from Pistacia lentiscus (mastic) gum, in a caprylic/capric triglyceride matrix. It is not a retinol, not a retinoid, and not a substitute for either — a comparison we cannot support is one we will not make. NovoRetin™ has zero PubMed-indexed human trials; Mibelle's figures (Personal Care Magazine July 2022; HAPPI Magazine June 2024) are unpublished manufacturer data.

In Cellular Radiance Night Serum: 3% raw — the top of its 2–3% range. Note the dose reality we would rather you heard from us: the mastic gum itself is roughly 0.069% of the finished serum, against 1–3% in the supplier studies. Azeloglycine (Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate)

What it is: A derivative of azelaic acid, widely used in cosmetic formulations. We name it as a formulation component and make no appearance claim on it.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Stabilized Vitamin C)

What it is: The stabilized, pH-neutral, non-acidic form of Vitamin C. Worth being precise about: its human trial support is for acne and sebum, not pigmentation — so we do not build a brightening claim on it.

In Cellular Clarity Serum: 0.10%.

Vitamin Tree (Hippophae rhamnoides / Sea Buckthorn)

What it is: Sea buckthorn berry extract, with a long history in skin care for its carotenoid and omega-7 content. We make no claim on it. At 0.006% of the finished serum it sits far below the levels used in its human trials — and those trials were for burn healing and epithelial integrity, not facial skincare. Naming an ingredient is not claiming it.

What it is: A peptide-mimetic hydration complex used in cosmetic formulations to support sustained cosmetic hydration.
