Cellular Clarity Serum — The Science

The cosmetic research behind our targeted tone-evening formula

Designed to help support the look of fading age spots without bleaching the surrounding skin tone. Locked formula FOR.25.184.01. Manufactured in France. Vegan.

What this serum is — and isn't. Cellular Clarity Serum is a cosmetic. It is designed for the appearance of age spots and uneven skin tone. It is not a medical treatment for melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, or any dermatological condition. If you have a diagnosed skin condition, please consult a dermatologist. Niacinamide is NOT in this formula.

Delentigo™ — The Hero Active

Cosmetic Actives For An Efficient Treatment Of Age Spots + Cress Sprout Actives to Turn on the Master Switch in Cell Protection

SöFW Journal, May 2009 + CosmeticsDesign, 2010. Mibelle Biochemistry technical publications.

Delentigo™ is a cosmetic active developed by Mibelle Biochemistry, combining Lepidium sativum (Swiss garden cress) sprout extract with soy isoflavones (genistein) and lecithin. In Cellular Clarity Serum it's present at 4% raw, delivering the active components to the finished formula.

"In an 8-week cosmetic study at 4% Delentigo® concentration, the difference in melanin index between the appearance of age spots and surrounding skin decreased by approximately 50%, while the surrounding skin tone was unchanged."

The design principle: Most brightening serums work by lightening ALL the skin where they're applied — including the surrounding skin tone you don't want to change. The result can be uneven correction that gets more noticeable over time. Delentigo's published research describes a more targeted approach: cosmetic appearance benefits focused on the look of age spots, with the surrounding skin tone unchanged.

MossCellTec™ N°1 (Physcomitrella patens callus extract) at 2% raw

Cellular Clarity Serum shares MossCellTec™ N°1 at 2% raw with Cellular Renewal Serum. Same active. Different supporting cast. The cross-product story: resilient-looking skin and even-looking tone are connected concerns in cosmetic ingredient science.

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate — Stabilized Vitamin C

Tier B2 — Established cosmetic ingredient0.10% in finished serum

Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate (Azelis, 0.10%)

The stabilized, pH-neutral, non-acidic form of Vitamin C. Designed for cosmetic appearance benefits relating to brightness and antioxidant support, without the irritation associated with L-ascorbic acid.

Azeloglycine (Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate) — Soothing + Tone

Tier B2 — Established cosmetic ingredient0.60% in finished serum

Azeloglicina (Sinerga) — Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate at 0.60%

Hybloom™ HA-TP — Multi-MW Hyaluronic Acid

Tier B2 — Bloomage Biotech

Hybloom™ HA-TP — Multi-molecular-weight cosmetic hyaluronic acid

The same Bloomage Biotech hyaluronic acid system used in Cellular Renewal Serum — multi-MW design for cosmetic surface hydration.

About Arbutin and Kojic Acid (Trace Only)

Cellular Clarity Serum contains arbutin at 0.001% and kojic acid at 0.001%. These are trace-level concentrations only. Despite both being recognizable category names in tone-correction cosmetics, they are not leading actives in our formulation, and we never anchor a claim on either. The hero actives are Delentigo™, MossCellTec™ N°1, Azeloglycine, sodium ascorbyl phosphate, and Hybloom™ HA-TP.

What's NOT in the Formula

Cellular Clarity Serum does not contain:

  • Niacinamide. Despite some category positioning elsewhere, niacinamide is not in our locked formula. If you've seen niacinamide referenced for Cellular Clarity online, that is an error we are correcting.
  • Hydroquinone. Hydroquinone is a regulated skin-lightening drug; it is not in our cosmetic formula.
